Hello Buddhawalas and -walis,

There are some provocative and interesting articles on the Journal of
Buddhist Ethics's website, Volume 12, 2005, issue at this link:
http://jbe.gold.ac.uk/12/current12.html
(Unashamed promo dept: I also have a book review here, of an
anthropologist's study of Buddhist nuns in Ladakh.)

See more arrticles in the Current Vol. 13 Issue at
http://jbe.gold.ac.uk/current.html Comparativists might find this article
of special interest: Acquinas and Dogen on Poverty and the Religious Life by
Douglas K. Mikelson.

Poverty----is that something relevant only to poor people?

Just because Richard is busy preparing for tenure review and not commenting
currently is no reason to maintain silence, as if someone just died! Many of
us are eagerly awaiting your discourse, although we are also aware that you
may be overwhelmed by work for other lists :) heh heh
