[Buddha-l] The way the wind blows

Not to speak of the probable pretentiously souding claim to have reached
nirvana in this life. Nirvana seems to be exclusively for a select bunch of
men. What was that story again of buddha's appearing once and a while /
every so many kalpa's. Where are the contemporary Buddha's (and not just
bodhisatta's)?
