But doesn't a black hole, to be properly so, have to suck in all directions at 
once?  Then there can be no down, since everywhere is up,  and event horizon 
is thus relative to the position of the beholder. (Who will probably not have 
much of a life for long.)  Thus,  all things are impermanent.
