But you'll want to turn right away to the part that says that no true  
Buddhist will ever eat honey, use wool, eat flesh or eggs, or drink  
milk and that those hīnayāninaḥ who slandered the Buddha by telling  
the outrageous lie that monks may eat meat if it is offered to them  
will go directly to hell. It is a wonderful exposition of the  
perfection of patience, toleration and compassion that one finds in  
Mahāyāna sūtras. It is must reading not only for all Buddhists, but  
for all aspiring Vegan Totalitarians.
