I believe it was Bertrand Russell who wrote something like "Man is not free to choose between believing and not believing. He is only free to choose what he believes in." Maoists, communists, imperialists, "freedom fighters" and "liberators" have no problem justifying violence without even reference to an ancient religion. W.F. Wong
