[Buddha-l] Yogi with a cell phone

And fr many decades I have seen monks in Burma (OK, Myanmar) doing 
things like learning microphone technique for better [preaching, and 
even learning telegraphy for some strange reason. The abbot of my 
monastery in Mandalay has only a regular phone, but wants a cell 
phone because the lands-line connections are so very bad there. I 
find not problem in this if I keep it in mind that monks are not JUST 
meditators but also preachers and teachers and advisors to the ;lay 
supporting community, so they have to be 'connected'.
