Let's see... Armies shooting at each other over territory is *not* war -- by
any definition. And the Temple just happens to be there (I guess the
soldiers who get in the way of bullets just happen to be there, too).

I notice you dropped your "HIndu" label for the Temple, since that label has
been obsolete for about a millennium.

You're right. Buddhist soldiers from two Buddhist nations shooting at each
other over ownership of a Buddhist temple has no business being discussed on
buddha-l. What was I thinking?
