Now that our Vice-King moderator has spoken, I feel safe to say I don't see the harm either-- and your comment (scroll down ) says that it is your teacher who isn't very complimentary about Deshpande's approach, so it's not you being uncomp.

Having lived through 27 years of my students writing nasty or bland comments about my performance in the classroom, to be turned in to a dean---also having received some good ones--the fact is teachers cannot please everybody, nor can students.
