in mis-paraphrasing the new book by clark strand*, i might have done it a
disservice:  it is correctly entitled <<how to believe in god whether you
believe in religion or not>>.  pardon my citational lapsus

*a former zen priest, he moved over to pure land, and now draws on his bible
belt background; he also writes splendid yukei tekei haiku
