It's a combination of staying within my comfort zone and seeking
entertainment. People who know what they believe make me nervous, so I
seek to undermine their confidence in their beliefs so I can feel more
comfortable in their presence. The entertainment component is that I
enjoy watching people wobble, so long as they don't fall and get hurt.
Now that you state so clearly what you presume, Erik, I suppose there is
something slightly sadistic about enjoying watching people reeling
around out of control. But why do people subscribe to buddha-l, if it
isn't to watch people wobble at a safe distance?
