There is also no word for sin in Sanskrit. Who needs a word for a
perfectly useless concept?

Really-- so where does paapa (usually pronounced as paap) in
Hindi come from? 
Doesn't it have a Sanskrit analogue of some kind?
One assumes that most words in Hindi that don't originate from
Farsi, English or Arabic--are based on/related to Sanskrit.
