[Buddha-l] Buddhism and psychotherapy

The topic of Buddhism and psychotherapy has come up several times during
the past dozen years or so, often with the same things being said each
time it comes up. Some of you may recall Ven Punnadhammo, who took a
position remarkably similar to Benito's. Some of the exchange with
Bhikkhu Punnadhammo and with a few other folks, along with an
introduction that refers to books on pyschology and Budhdism by some of
our regular buddha-l contributors, now appears on my ever-expanding
