Yes, that worked. For what it's worth, I got to the address cited above using 
a Konqueror browser. It crashed when I clicked the link to the blog spot. 
There may be some Konqueror-unfriendly code there; if so, the site could 
crash Safari browser as well, since they are built on a Konqueror base (or 
thus have I heard). Using Firefox, I got to the blog spot and read the items 
posted there. Thanks for the lead. It's interesting to see how people found 
their way to philosophy.

I don't mind. My little piece would probably reinforce the image that students 
in the UK have of Yankee intellectuals (if that isn't already an oxymoron). 
Mind you, the incident I refer to happened forty-two years ago and was 
unusual even then. These days, many American professors have rejected the 
belief the left-handed people are genetic mutants who are allowed to live 
only through the grace of normal people.
