[Buddha-l] Happy Halloween! Buddha-L is defunct!

Yes, Max..... agreed-- if this announcement weren't a trick instead of a
treat, if the list-owners are tired of it, could the list be moved to a
couple of other members?

Dear Prof. Hayes and management team,

I too have greatly enjoyed reading this list -- I have learned surprising
and interesting things about Buddhism as relates to philosophical,
spiritual, sociological, and other fields.

I would be very sorry to see it go. I am wondering if, if the management of
the list has become too cumbersome for the current administrators, if
perhaps others might be able to take up the duties of managing the list, so
that we might save this rare forum for informative discussion (a small oasis
amidst the generally mindless cacophony that makes up the bulk of my email
inbox!).

Best,

- M. Cooper
